Our Big Day Out returns on Thursday 1 August and it’s shaping up to be bigger and better than ever.
Colleagues will be out and about across 22 locations taking part in a range of activities designed to benefit local communities, including litter picking, gardening, and informative drop-in sessions.
Most of our colleagues are out and about all the time, but once a year and to coincide with Yorkshire Day, everyone steps away for the day job to spend time meeting customers and making a difference to the communities we serve.
Nick Atkin, chief executive of Yorkshire Housing, said:
“I’m really looking forward to getting out and about, meeting a cross section of both customers and colleagues. On what better day to do this than Yorkshire Day!
“This event is all about bringing people together to celebrate what makes Yorkshire great, whilst creating lasting change in our communities as part of our commitment to providing quality homes and a great place to live.
“If you see us out and about please come and say hello or give us a wave”.
