Almost half of the 72 homes being built at Spofforth, a village within in the district of Harrogate, have been completed with 32 keys handed over to customers.
The site, which started in 2022, is scheduled to be completed in March 2025. The project, with development partners Jack Lunn, represents circa £20 million pound investment, highlighting our commitment to building new homes that people can be proud of.
The Massey Fold development features a mix of tenures which are shared ownership, affordable rent and rent to buy, providing flexibility and accessibility to potential homeowners. With a range of bedroom configurations, the homes cater to both individuals and families of different sizes.
As part of our effort to tackle the climate crisis and to future proof our homes, all properties on this development benefit from provision to install an electric vehicle charging point in the future.
Development Project Manager, Steven Harrison said: “We’re thrilled to get the keys to 32 of 72 new homes in Spofforth.
“Spofforth is a thriving town with a fantastic community feel with a need for more affordable housing. This development significantly helps address this.
“Yorkshire Housing has a goal of delivering 8,000 new homes and the site takes us closer to achieving this target. Thanks to our consultants on this project and development partners Jack Lunn for the support to date.”
