We’re excited to announce two key leadership changes at Yorkshire Housing as Sian Webster and Rob Parkes step into new roles on our executive team.
Sian has been appointed as Executive Director of Growth and Assets having previously held the role of Director of Assets and Sustainability, while Rob takes on the role of Executive Director of Finance and Governance having previously been Director of Finance. Both have played a big part in shaping Yorkshire Housing, and their leadership will help us continue delivering on our mission to provide quality, affordable homes across the region.
Sian Webster - Executive Director of Growth and Assets
Over the past 10 years at Yorkshire Housing, Sian has been at the forefront of our development, assets, and sustainability agenda. Now, as Executive Director of Growth and Assets, she’ll lead our work to build more homes while making sure they’re energy-efficient and fit for the future.
Upon stepping into her new role, Sian told us:
"I’m really excited to step into my new role. I’m passionate about creating quality homes whilst making sure we minimise our carbon footprint, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to continue driving this change and making a difference for our customers.”
Rob Parkes – Executive Director of Finance and Governance
Since joining us in 2015, Rob has played a key role in securing major funding to support our housing developments. As Executive Director of Finance and Governance, he’ll make sure we remain financially strong while leading efforts to create places people are proud to call home. Rob will officially start his new role on Monday, 24th February.
Speaking about his promotion, Rob said:
"I’m delighted to have the opportunity to step into this role. I’m passionate about Yorkshire Housing and what we do. I want us to do whatever we can to minimise the number of people who are homeless or stuck in unsuitable temporary accommodation in our region. I know we can do this while offering quality, affordable, well-maintained and energy-efficient homes to our existing customers.
"I’m looking forward to working with our board, leadership team and external partners to take Yorkshire Housing to the next level. Together we’ll continue to do more and maximise the positive impact on our communities.”
