Yorkshire Housing customers have received a financial boost all thanks our to money and tenancy coaches.
Last year, our service helped hundreds of our customers access £1.02 million through grants and unclaimed entitlements that they didn’t realise they were eligible for.
Since April 2022, 1229 customers have received or are receiving help. We expect that this figure will rise this year, as more people seek support to cope with the increasing cost of living.
Customer Independence Manager, Tom Oliver said:
“We recognise that people are worried about rising costs and we want to reassure our customers that we’re here to support them.
“Our money and tenancy coaching teams offer free, confidential advice and support to customers who are having difficulties paying bills and managing their finances. They’re a dedicated team and these figures speak volumes.”
