Prince of Wales Hospice in Pontefract has received £500 to deliver Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training to staff and volunteers.
The funding from Yorkshire Housing will enable the Prince of Wales Hospice will offer in-person and remote group training to over 200 volunteers and employees. They’ll cover important topics such as self-awareness, relationship management, prejudice and discrimination, and workplace values. The hospice strives to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all, aligning with its mission to provide care and support for those affected by incurable illness.
Charlotte Woollard, Community Independence Manager at Yorkshire Housing said:

“We’re confident that this project will have a positive impact on the hospice and its employees and volunteers.
